PERSON CENTRED COUNSELLING, EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES, WALK AND TALK, FLOWER REMEDIES

Through person-centred counselling, I aim to actively listen, empathize, and support you without judgment. Together, we will explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences, fostering self-awareness and personal growth. This therapeutic alliance enables you to gain deeper insights into your challenges, allowing you to process your emotions, and develop strategies for lasting change. By creating a safe and compassionate space, I work with you as an unique individual, recognising that you hold the key to your own healing. You are the expert on you!

Emotional Freedom Technique is an evidence-based psychological treatment that combines traditional talk therapy with acupressure. By tapping gently with the fingertips on specific meridian points on the body, the vibration eases emotional tension and helps release cellular memories. It is used to help people reduce or eliminate negative emotions, alleviate physical pain, and other symptoms associated with stress, trauma, and other psychological issues. EFT may help people identify and address the underlying causes of their emotional and physical distress, and to develop healthier coping strategies. It can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve self-esteem, and increase emotional resilience.

Walk and Talk sessions

If you prefer, we can go for a walk outside rather than sitting in the traditional therapy room setting. Some people feel more comfortable walking alongside each other and find it easier to talk this way.  In a way, it’s on a more equal footing too – just walking along together.

Movement also helps you to relax, and possibly see things from a different perspective and find ways to cope with whatever is troubling you. Being in nature is a good way to ground ourselves, get some fresh air and exercise, and generally makes us feel better.

Flower Remedies

Flower remedies are a type of holistic therapy that uses the vibrational energy of flowers to help balance the emotional and mental state of an individual. They are believed to help restore emotional balance and harmony, reduce stress, and promote feelings of peace, calm, and wellbeing. Flower remedies can be used to help address a wide range of emotional issues, such as anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and grief. They can also be used to help improve self-esteem, confidence, and motivation.

I may offer the client the pack of Flower Insight cards which they then look through and choose the photo of the flower or plant they are drawn to.  The flowers picked invariably, and uncannily seem to point to the client’s most pressing issue or concern, and this then can offer us a starting point of where to begin our session.

I am then able to offer an essence made of those specific plants chosen which the client administers through a dropper under the tongue.  The cost is £10 for a month’s supply.
